Whitney has a certain star quality about her. She wouldn’t say it herself, she’s too modest for that, but we think it’s because she’s got such high-level experience, she might as well be famous. Whitney got her start nearly ten years ago, gaining diverse and high-profile marketing experience at major publishing companies including Time Inc., Rodale Inc., Condé Nast Publications and Gruner & Jahr. Since then, she’s become a natural leader in all parts of the integrated proposal process (added value and big ideas) including ideation, development/presentation of custom pitches and execution of multi-platform programs. Whitney’s star power solidified during her tenure at The PEOPLE Group (PEOPLE, PEOPLE StyleWatch, PEOPLE Country and PEOPLE.com), where she perfectly executed the never-been-done-before Vitaminwater Zero/Smartwater Emmy red carpet program. The program ran across PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly, including negotiating and securing exclusive red carpet access for product sampling and custom integration, as well as print, digital, retail, PR and event extensions. Overall, Whitney can jump into any marketing/merchandising team and deliver strategic integrated proposals to meet advertiser objectives, and act as a strong project manager to execute successful, star-quality multi-platform programs.
