Rodale and REI “Fit for Adventure” In-Store Event

CHALLENGE:

Fulfill an element of Rodale’s corporate marketing commitment to REI through an in-store event at REI’s SoHo location supporting the “Fit for Adventure” theme.

 

CREATIVE SOLUTION:

The TMD team developed a branded event tied in with Rodale titles: Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Bicycling and Runner’s World offering tailored activities for each title. To promote the event, TMD developed e-Blasts targeted to tri-state subscribers and online editorial postings on Runner’s World and Bicycling’s Facebook pages. As the Event Manager, TMD built and maintained the budget, secured all outside vendors and directed all on-site event logistics including yoga, Delta Fit Ultimate Body Weight Workout and Urban Biking Tips clinics, book signings and “Check Your Stride” activities – which were offered all evening.
